• To lather up use a badger brush as it will give you richer and more emollient lather. You can use shaving cream of your choice, shaving soap or foam.

• Dip a clean sharp blade in hot water, avoid applying pressure and shave with the grain.Rinse your blade often. If a close shave is required re-lather and gently shave against the grain.

• Note :- Always use sharp blades to avoid razor burn, Do not use products containing alcohol and mentholated foam as it can cause skin irritation, Don't apply too much pressure, and avoid dry shaving. 

• Other products which one can use for grooming are Beard wash, Beard softener, Moustache and beard oil, Moustache wax, etc.
