Hey Guys! How you doing this Great Morning! You know, alike thousands, I can’t resist myself from checking my Daily Horoscope each morning. And after having a look at that, I even wonder whether or not I am wearing my lucky color that day (as stated in the Horoscope). How Superstitious? Raise your hands if you are the owner of same addiction. But why call it Addiction? It is fair enough to get yourself enlighten with all the possibilities of Fate for a particular day.

But seriously, it leaves my Tummy aching with suspicion whether it is being applicable to me at all? On one hand, where it happens that the horoscope words bang with my real life

 moments, while other side of Coin forecasts about my Love partner. God Swear, I have the record score of ‘Zero Girlfriends’ till date. 

Now after the basic acknowledgement of the situation, here we got ourselves to ask three basic Questions---

1. Is it just a Traditional Superstition or accompanies any Logic? (As a true Engineer, it is my duty to reveal the logic behind each statement.)  

2. Am I checking my correct Zodiac sign?

3. Which part of the horoscope will be applicable to me and which is not?

After a lot of Research on Google, the fact seems quiet reliable that there is a ‘Heavy Science’ hidden behind Daily Horoscope (called as Astrology i.e. The Study of Stars). Now this post will be concentrating on providing best possible answers for 2nd and 3rd question. 

What is Your Zodiac Sign?

If you're going by Vedic Astrology, the authentic system of astrology, the zodiac sign will be decided by your birth time and place, not your name. 

Zodiac Signs

Obviously the position of the stars at your birth time will not change by your name. So only your birth time is the true way to find your zodiac sign. Also remember that your name should be in accordance with the birth-time (as per Vedic astrology recommendations). 

Nevertheless, deviation of your name from ‘First Character’ as per accordance with your birth time does have a mild effect on the accuracy of Zodiac sign. So it is always advisable to use zodiac signs according to birth time. Here is a list describing your zodiac sign according to birth time:

The closer to the sun a planet is, the more quickly it revolves around the sun. The more quickly it revolves, the more quickly it changes signs. The moon, which revolves around the earth, changes sign every other day. Pluto, on the other hand, changes signs every 20 years or so. So if I have to write a daily astrological column, I am supposed to look at the

bodies that changes signs fairly often. Those bodies would be: moon, sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars.

The rest of the planets move slowly and will be in a constant sign for years. They, too, show up in the horoscope, but represent the same thing for a long time. At the same time, the faster revolving planets move ‘In and Out’ of those signs and bump up against the slower moving planets. When this happens, you add that tidbit to the daily forecast.

Now How an Astrologer Makes a Prediction for Zodiac Sign which Millions of people Share?

Taking an example of Aries, the astrologer must pretend that all of them have 0 degrees of Aries as the rising sign. As the planets move through the houses, the astrologer make predictions based on various areas of life. It can be very accurate for some people because their houses line up with this assumption. But at the same time, it may not get resonated with many others. I know you’re confused. To prove my point, let’s have a look at a daily horoscope chart from past, where I have the name Mr. Barack Obama with 7:24 PM as the time of birth.

April 24, 2015-- the sun was in four degrees of Taurus and the Moon was in three degrees of Aquarius. Taking these signs, degrees and putting them in Mr. Obama’s chart, following would have been the observations for that day:

The sun in four degrees of Taurus just entered Mr. Obama’s 3rd house of communication, squaring his natal Mercury in Leo in the 6th house of work. The Moon at three degrees of Aquarius was in Mr. Obama’s 12th house Jupiter, the house of hidden matters. By the next day, the Moon was supposed to move into the 1st house of open self. Many planets that transited Aries then were in Mr. Obama’s 2nd house--the house of money and resources. Pluto transiting Capricorn was in the 11th house of friendships and Saturn in Libra was in the 8th house of other people’s money. Neptune in Pisces was transiting his 1st house of open self. This would have been the daily horoscope for Mr. Barack Obama for Monday, April 24, 2015:

“On Monday, you have information about group money or resources that you are deliberately not revealing. On Tuesday, a humanitarian or social group will bring that matter into the open. There will be great changes in money earned and asset values. The money issues will affect your social life and friendships. You will be fighting with a man from your past about money, a man that you do not associate with publicly.”

If Mr. Obama weren’t president, I would simply assume that he had some intense money problems. Since he is president, I’m feeling that the chart represented American money issues he was not communicating truthfully. According to the horoscope, I suspect that he was giving money to people who would then be casted off from financial support. But we all are the breathing proof that none of this got its application on Mr. Obama. 

Here is the conclusion (though it is not the concrete one)--a daily chart is a mix of things that are going on quickly, like the moon; and the larger developments that move slowly, like Pluto. They are not always liable. So even if you can’t stop yourselves from peeping into Daily Horoscope, no need of getting disappointed on a negative forecast, because chances prevails that it might not be applicable for you.
